Meet Laurie
Hi my name is Laurie and I have been running my Popcat’s classes since July 2019! I originally trained to be an Early Years Teacher, graduating from Chester University in 2007 and enjoyed teaching in F2 and year 1 for over 12 years.
In 2009 I became a mummy to our gorgeous son Ewan and then in 2014 we welcomed our beautiful daughter Eilse to the world. In 2024 we added a little fur baby to the family called Lottie who is a black Labrador and who keeps me company now that my babies have grown up so fast!
In 2019 the opportunity to buy a Popcats franchise arose and I jumped at the chance after attending these classes with my daughter I found them to be fabulous as she was always an energetic little one who loved to move around freely and explore. The classes allowed her the freedom to express herself through music and movement without being too restricted.
As a class leader I love seeing parents, carers and grandparents smiling and having fun whilst building friendships over a cuppa after class. I always aspire to be welcoming and friendly to everyone who attends my classes as I remember how it felt to be a first time mum attending a class for the first time! Popcat’s provides the setting where memories that last a life time are created. I absolutely adore my job and hope this is reflected in the way I run my business.

Lower Bebington Methodist Church
A lovely church hall with a large, bright room. The church has wheelchair friendly access, baby change and small free car park on site. A large car park is situated a short walk away.
Fusion Dance Academy, Bromborough
This is a large, modern, clean, wheelchair friendly building with a baby change and large free car park.
After class The Croft is extremely close so it has easy access to a range of shops, cafes and various activities.
